En la isla de Babul
todo es de color azul.
Allí azul es cualquier cosa.
Hasta la nariz mocosa
del rey Facundo II
es la más azul del mundo.
Azul es el chocolate,
la leche -¡qué disparate!-
y el sol que despierta al día.
¡Menuda monotonía!
En la isla de Pintojo
el cielo es requeterrojo.
Rojas las nubes y el mar,
la tinta del calamar,
las palomas, las urracas
y las cacas de las vacas.
Si miras alrededor,
todo es del mismo color:
tan rojo como un pimiento.
¡Qué tremendo aburrimiento!
En la isla de Bolillo,
lo que ves es
amarillo.
Amarillos son los barcos,
¡y hasta el agua de los charcos!
Amarillo el elefante
por detrás y por delante.
Amarillos son, también,
los seis vagones del tren
y el pingüino Ceferino.
¡Vaya sitio tan cansino!
En las islas -¡qué alboroto!-
se organiza un maremoto.
Las tres, con una gran ola,
se juntan en una sola.
En
lugar tan triste y sosoocurre un hecho asombroso:
el mundo se hace mejor
llenándose de color.
La alfombra de la pradera
ahora es verde primavera.
La cometa de Julieta,
naranja, rosa y violeta.
Va una nube engalanada
con su bufanda rayada.
El cielo alegre de abril
luce su vestido añil.
Y se pasea la gente
más
contenta y sonriente.El país está orgulloso:
¡mezclarse es maravilloso!
